With extensive experience in the actuarial field, Harold has successfully managed large teams of actuarial consultants and developed robust professional relationships with clients across the United States and Canada.
His career encompasses a broad spectrum of expertise, including Life Insurance, Pensions, Finance & Investment, and Reinsurance. Harold’s career began as an Actuarial Student, and he ascended through the ranks to hold pivotal roles such as Chief Actuary, Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer Vice President at one of the leading reinsurance companies in the USA.
During his tenure, Harold played a crucial role in transforming his company into one of the top-performing reinsurance firms in America. His leadership and strategic vision were instrumental in driving the company’s success and establishing its prominence in the industry.

Satya Sai Mudigonda is a highly experienced Senior Tech Actuarial Consultant with over 27 years of consulting in actuarial and tech domains in the USA and India. Over the course of his career, he has developed a wide skill set and managed numerous multi-million-dollar international assignments for major insurance companies across the globe.
In addition to his work in the industry, he is also an Adjunct Professor at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL). In this role, he has guided 3 PhDs and provided valuable instruction and mentorship to countless students pursuing careers in the actuarial field.
Satya Sai is also a prolific researcher, with over 33 international journal research publications to his credit in the field of Actuarial Data Science. He has presented at many prestigious international conferences. His areas of research include – Fraud Detection, Crop Insurance, Group Health Insurance and other actuarial data science applications in industry.
In 2022, SSSIHL was recognized as one of the four universities in the world to receive the CAS University Award for the innovative and exemplary ways of preparing actuarial students for a career in P&C. This recognition speaks to the excellence of the university’s program and his contribution.
Rohan Yashraj Gupta, PhD, ASA, AIA

Rohan Yashraj Gupta has an impressive academic background with a PhD in the area of fraud detection in insurance business from SSSIHL. As a visiting faculty at SSSIHL, he is dedicated to supporting and guiding actuarial students at both graduate and post-graduate levels.
Rohan’s research work has been well received by the actuarial community, having published 9 research papers and book chapters. He has also presented his work at several highly-regarded actuarial conferences, including CAS Spring Meet, ASTIN Colloquia, and Insurance Data Science Conference.
Apart from his academic achievements, Rohan has 5 years of experience working in both life and non-life domain. His work experience include Ayushman Bharat (Group Health Insurance) claims analytics, crop insurance pricing, and cancer product pricing. His work in these areas has enabled the development of innovative and effective solutions.
Rohan’s interest in data analytics and predictive analytics has led him to develop over five web apps/dashboards for dynamic reporting and visualizations during his work.
Naga Teja Mariyala, FIAI

Naga Teja Mariyala is an accomplished Senior Actuarial Analyst at Swiss Re GBS India and a fellow member of Institute of Actuaries of India. He volunteers as a visiting faculty at Centre of Excellence in Actuarial Data Science, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning(SSSIHL).
His expertise lies in building various pricing tools and models. He holds an MSc in Mathematics from SSSIHL with a specialization in Actuarial Science and has also received Principal Financial Group Award for completion of Associateship from Institute of Actuaries of India in less than 3 years.
His professional and academic achievements, including modelling experience with R and Python, highlight his proficiency in data visualization and predictive modelling, making him established in the field of Actuarial Data Science.
